A POEM FOR ALL PARENTS

MOM! MOM! MOM!
I'd love to change my name.
At 3:00 in the morning,
Would you lay blame?

Instructions and warnings were not stamped on their head,
Believe me, there's more than feeding, bathing, and putting to bed.
You think you're so smart cause you've had a child,
Just make sure that pat on your back is really mild.

Years go by and you think you're pretty slick,
Telling your spouse, they grow up so quick.
>From infant to teen...you sat not much trouble,
Honey , the next few years will burst that bubble.

" I want ", " I need "..Mom ," you just don't understand"
Yes, teenagers march to their own little band.

Nerves of steel is what you will need,
Cause at times you'll think you've spawned demon seed.

Kids are a blessing given to us from above,
And we'll make it through with a whole lot of love.
